Artlantis Ribbon Menu
Contains the commands for managing documents (opening, saving, reverting, closing, using a reference file, merging, license, preferences, information, and quit).
Quick access to a list of recently used files.
Artlantis document opens .atl, the native file format of Artlantis,.atla, the archive file format, and .atlo, the object file format of Artlantis.
Artlantis object document opens .atlo or an older .aof object file format of Artlantis
Merge Geometry from File merges the current file with another file: atl, atla, atlo, aof, 3ds, dwf, dwg, dxf, fbx, obj, and skp.
Import File opens files in the following formats: 3ds, dwf, dwg, dxf, obj and skp.
NB: To use files from Media Artlantis 4 and earlier versions you will need to convert them into the new Artlantis file formats atls (Shaders) and atlo (Objects). Please use the Artlantis Media Converter program available in the Artlantis 5 folder. The older file format opt/db is no longer supported.
Ctrl O
Saves the current Artlantis document to your file system.
Ctrl S
NB: Saved documents will no longer be compatible with earlier versions.
Artlantis Document Saves the current file as a new .atl document. The new file becomes the active document.
Artlantis Archive Document Saves the current file as an archive. An .atla file is generated containing the Artlantis project with all its dependent Media. This function is useful when sharing a project.
Artlantis Object Document Saves the current file as an object. An .atlo file is generated.
NB: A scene cannot be saved as an Artlantis Object when the current document contains already an object.
Other Document Exports the geometry of the current document in dwf,.obj,.or skp file format.
Reverts to the saved version of the document.
Closes the document. A dialog invites you to save changes.
Recovers all or part of the elements from different .atl and .atla files into the current file. Can be used to import Shaders, Lights, Heliodons, Objects and Cameras from the points of views.
Contains the following standard commands for managing the file: Undo, Redo, Cut, Copy, Paste, and Delete.
Undoes the last command. Also allows the user to step backwards, undoing all operations performed since the document was opened.
Ctrl+Z
Reverses the last Undo command.
Shift Ctrl+Z
This command works in numeric fields and inspector lists. The cut element is stored on the clipboard.
Ctrl+X
Works in digital fields and inspector lists. The cut element is stored on the clipboard.
Ctrl+C
Pastes the content of the clipboard into inspector lists and numeric fields.
Ctrl+V
Removes the selected elements from inspector lists, numeric fields, and objects in the scene.
Keyboard Shortcut: Del
Displays the license activation for Artlantis, Maxwell for Artlantis and Artlantis Keyserver, as well the Artlantis version and the status of the serial number. Can be used to activate/deactivate licenses.
Defines the program's overall behavior.
Artlantis' online documentation, containing the reference documentation for the program's functions, and detailed illustrated tutorials.
Opens the Web browser at the Artlantis Home page.
Displays the online tutorials in your browser.
Information about the Artlantis version and the serial number being used.
Quits the program after saving or not the open document.
